Jocelyn Fine (b. 1969, Pittsburgh, PA) currently resides and works in New Jersey. Her work stages a convergence between the natural world and the human body. It works from the belief that the energies, or life forces, that animate nature are the same ones that animate mankind.
Fine holds a BFA from the University of Vermont and an MS in Architectural Conservation from Columbia University. She studied Painting Conservation at the Istituto Per l’Arte e il Restauro in Florence, Italy, and attended the Millay Arts Residency in 2025. Selected recent exhibitions include solo and group presentations at KALINER (formerly FORMahGallery) (2024/2025), Sarah Shepard Gallery (2025), and 550 Gallery (2025). Jocelyn comes from a multi-generational family of artists, filmmakers, collectors, and gallerists.
“I started thinking about my mortality and developed a growing awareness of human fragility… I started to concentrate on the spiritual essence imprinted in nature.”
